We’re super stoked for our upcoming guest artist Adri to hang out July 11th to July 13th! Adri specializes in illustrative and fine line black and grey tattoos utilizing a variety of stippled black and grey shading with dynamic textures and delicate details.

We’re super stoked to announce our upcoming guest artist Alexa Brooke! She’ll be at the studio from April 17th to the 22nd and while she’ll be booking appointments for her stay she’ll also be available for walk ins when she has some free time.

Alexa specializes in illustrative and traditional tattoos and she would love to set something up with all you trad lovers out there. REPORT BACK: EVERGREEN TATTOO INVITATIONAL

We had so much fun at the Evergreen Tattoo Invitational and want to thank everyone that made the event possible from the organizers to the artists and all the event attendees. It was so great to be able to attend a tattoo convention again after a multi year hiatus due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

All of our crew had such an amazing time connecting and reconnecting with our artist peers, seeing clients of old, new and potentials as well as hanging out all day with each other in our booth space. We worked hard and played harder and we all look forward to the next time.

Many thanks again to the organizers, and especially to everyone who attended the event and took the time to check out the Sub Rosa Tattoo booth. Thanks to everyone who bought merch and got tattooed. We can’t wait to do it all again!

EVERGREEN TATTOO INVITATIONAL

The whole studio is super stoked to be heading to the Evergreen Tattoo Invitational March 18-20. It’s been quite some time without conventions due to Covid and we can’t wait to get back into the swing of things and connect with artists and make new friends along the way.

The entire Sub Rosa Tattoo crew will be in attendance and we’ll have plenty of merch available including clothing, prints, and some free goodies. Each artist can be contacted directly for booking info or we may be able to take walk ups at the event.

BACK AGAIN… FOR THE FIRST TIME!

2020 has been quite the adventure to say the least. But a shutdown due to a global pandemic isn’t going to hold Sub Rosa Tattoo back!  We’ve been using this down time to hone in our art skills, catch up on unfinished projects and prepare for the changes to come. We’re patiently waiting on a re-open date and are eager to get back to tattooing and see our clients again.

Some of the soon to come changes we eagerly look forward to include the expansion of Sub Rosa Tattoo to the attached secondary unit in the rear of the shop building where Nic LeBrun will be setting up his private booth. Along with that expansion two more artists are coming on board to join Nic and Jaiden. None other than Evan Dunn will be returning as we begin opening our doors again after the Covid-19 shutdown is over with. Then later in the summer Maya Uribe will be joining the team as our shop apprentice. We’re all very stoked about not only being able to open our doors again and get back to tattooing, but to have a full shop ready and eager to create and push harder than ever. 

Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of our clients. We want to send our sincerest THANK YOU to all of you for supporting the shop over the years and especially through this Covid-19 Shutdown. We sure can’t wait to see you all again. CH...CH...CHANGES!

It’s about to be 2020 ya'll, and a change is gonna come! Here at Sub Rosa Tattoo we are always changing things up and growing as a business as well as pushing ourselves as artists and tattooers, so here’s what’s in store for the upcoming year.

A few of our changes include keeping up to date on our online presence with more artwork, tattoos, news and other writings as well as some short videos to share more of what we do and why. We are hoping to host more guest artists and might just have an additional artist or two added to the team roster as the year progresses. There will be some light duty shop construction and maintenance as we prepare additional booths and update some areas that need a little TLC, though this won’t effect normal business operations. We will also be hosting some small in house events in accordance with First Friday every month and possibly some other celebratory going ons. These events should be a blast, so keep an eye out for more info as it comes.

One of our more important updates will be changes to how we set up appointments and consultations from here on out. We will be ridding ourselves of our non-stop ringing phone that admittedly rarely gets answered and will begin handling everything via email. This will help us to efficiently correspond with clients in a more timely manner as well as cut down on unwanted noise while getting tattooed.

Another change worthy of noting is that while we do generally have open doors for anyone to stop by at any time if the “OPEN” sign is on, we are moving in the direction of becoming an “APPOINTMENT ONLY” studio to eliminate distractions during procedures. We believe this will make for a quieter and more peaceful environment that is better suited to our artist and client needs as well as allow for a more efficient procedure schedule with less interruptions.

These are just some of the changes we’ll be making that are worthy of attention, ideas are infinite though, so who knows what else we’ll get ourselves into! Don’t forget to also check out our individual artists to see what they have planned for the upcoming year. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in 2020, and of course, thank you all for your support, we are so grateful for our clientele and look forward to serving you even better as the years pass!

NO MORE 9 TO 5

We are pleased to announce that with the New Year ahead of us we are ridding ourselves of the limitations of a 5 days a week, 8 hour work day structure. In order to be more flexible and cater to our clients needs as well as our typical artist tendencies we are now an appointment based studio. Though of course, if the OPEN sign is on patrons may still stop in to browse the gallery, purchase apparel, aftercare and other goods, but if one is wanting to consult or set up a tattoo appointment we suggest using our contact form, or sending us an email at info@subrosatattoostudio.com. With this change we find ourselves creating a more relaxing and peaceful environment as well and being able to better meet the scheduling needs of our clientele. SAILOR JERRY FLASH DAY

Join us on Sunday, January 14th from 10am to 6pm for our Sailor Jerry Flash Day! We will have an assortment of pre-designed Sailor Jerry flash tattoos to choose from for $50 each. This is a first come, first serve, walk ins only event. We will keep a waiting list and will do our best to serve as many clients as we can, but there are limited spots so get there early. Below are the available designs. Sailor Jerry was an early pioneer and influential part of modern day tattoo culture and it's an honor to be able to celebrate his life's work on the day of his birth. This is going to be a great time, so don't miss out!!! See you there!

HALLOWEEN FLASH DAY!!

Join us on Saturday, October 28th from 10am to 6pm for our Halloween Flash Day! We will have an assortment of pre-designed Halloween themed tattoos to choose from for $50 each. This is a first come, first serve event. We will keep a waiting list and will do our best to serve as many clients as we can, but there are limited spots.
